Christina Raj is an Investment Analyst at CBA, actively managing portfolio companies. She grew up in Goa and has completed her MBA from Goa Institute of Management. She has 2 years experience in retail branch banking (Axis Bank). She is also passionate about education and has worked at a bi-lingual school in Goa.
Karin Bhat is an Investment Manager at CBA, working in the Education Sector. She went to University in Sweden, where she grew up, but for the last 15 years both India and Europe are home to her. She has 15 years of experience in education and entrepreneurship.
Praveen Prasad joined CBA as an Investment Analyst. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance from Goa Institute of Management. Earlier, he has worked at Infosys and a start-up where he was into software testing. At CBA he actively manages various portfolio companies.
Rimzhim Mathur is an Investment Analyst at CBA, managing investments in the Education and Skill sector companies. She hails from Delhi and holds an Integrated Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Indore. She has a keen interest in music and dance and holds a diploma in Kathak and Tabla.
Subhodeep Mukhopadhyay is a Management Information System consultant at CBA. He has been involved in Reporting and Analysis in private equity (Caspian Advisors), global banking (HSBC) and software (Accenture) for more than 10 years. He has experience in management & client reporting, financial planning & analysis and in executing business process re-engineering projects. He holds an MBA in Finance and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering.
Vishal Bharat, founder and director of CBA, is an advisor and investor in small businesses. He has 20 years of experience in financial services including impact investing, scale-ups, start-ups and turnarounds. He currently serves on advisory and company boards of several companies. Educated in Engineering and Management, Vishal has experience in promoter management, business planning, financial planning and corporate governance. He lives with his wife, son , 4 dogs and 4 cats in Goa, India.

Geeta Goel is responsible for the leading the global Mission Investing function for Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Prior to this role, Geeta led the foundation’s Microfinance/Family Economic Stability initiatives. She previously spent more than 12 years with the Corporate Finance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in India, advising large Indian and multinational clients on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, business plans, and valuations. She is an alumni of the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) and Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi).
S. Viswanatha Prasad has led Caspian Advisors over the past decade, including setting up three impact funds with increasing diversity across sectors, an AUM of ~$140 mn and a demonstrated exit track record in the impact space in India. Besides advising us in CBA he also serves as a member of the Investment Committee of other funds including Prospero Microfinance (a Latin American Microfinance Equity fund co-managed by Grassroots). Prasad holds a M.S. in Management Studies from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
Sanjay Mansabdar is seasoned financial markets professional and entrepreneur, with over 20 years of experience managing many small and large businesses. In the area of financial markets Sanjay has established and run large sales and trading businesses including market making, proprietary trading, asset management and execution businesses for a variety of organisations including JP Morgan, Bank of America. As an entrepreneur, Sanjay has additionally focused on Education businesses where he has set up and run scalable online platforms for advanced education. Sanjay consults for several large exchanges and is a musician and hobby pilot in his spare time.
Debasish Mitter is the Country Director of Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in India, leading the foundation’s strategy and operations for education, employability skills, family economic stability, and health. In his role, Debasish helps to improve learning levels in schools serving underprivileged children, helps youth gain meaningful employment and offers support to early-stage enterprises providing financial services to urban poor families. Prior to joining the foundation, he spent 13 years with American Express in various leadership positions in their Delhi, Miami and New York offices. Debasish is a chartered accountant.
Swaminathan S. Anklesaria Aiyar is a prominent journalist and columnist. He is consulting editor for the Economic Times and popular columnist of the Economic Times and The Times of India. He is also a Research Fellow at the Cato Institute, Washington DC, and an occasional consultant to the World Bank. Towards (1992) and Swaminomics: Escape from the Benevolent Zookeepers (2008) are his published works. After graduating from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi he earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from Magdalen College in Oxford.
Vandana Goyal is CEO of The Akanksha Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of low-income children. Previously, Vandana spent four years with Citizen Schools, a Boston-based non-profit organization dedicated to changing the life trajectory of underprivileged urban children, beginning her career as a teacher and then leading the launch of a new site in Springfield, Massachusetts. Vandana is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College, with a degree in Economics. She also serves on other Advisory Boards including the India School Leadership Institute, KINOE ( Kids in Need of Education) and STIR Education.
